This version of Leech was written in Python by Michael Alyn Miller.
Although the gameplay is based on WWIV Leech 1.0 by Weekend Warrior,
Leech 2000 was written from scratch as an example of programming with
the Hermes External Development System. As such, Leech 2000's code is
not based on any of the WWIV or Hermes versions of Leech.
Leech 2000 is open source and is distributed under the BSD license. See
