The Golden Age Archive

An archival snapshot of Hermes BBSes from the early 1990s — the peak of the BBS era. This list was maintained as part of the Hermes BBS software distribution and contains 76 systems across the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and beyond.

Every entry ran Hermes on a Macintosh, connected via modem. Phone numbers, baud rates, and descriptions are preserved as they appeared. A time capsule of a community.
